Is it right for you?
The Bowen puts you a short walk from The Domain's park, shops and restaurants. Residents praise its front desk and the concrete between its floors. Recent reviews point to three weak spots: move out bills, thefts from cars in the garage and stuffy homes with windows that don't open.
A good fit if
You want to walk to The Domain: Domain Central Park and its dog park are about 5 minutes away on foot
You want to hear less from neighbors: the property lists 7 1/2 inches of concrete between floors in some homes. Most residents who mention noise call their home quiet
You want a 24/7 front desk: 26 of the 30 reviews that mention the concierge praise it
Maybe not if
You want a balcony or fresh air: many homes have no balcony, and residents in 2023 and 2026 say their windows don't open
You worry about move out bills: four residents disputed charges for cabinets, paint and more from August 2025 to 2026
You'll park a car you care about in the garage: residents reported thefts from cars there in 2023, December 2025 and May 2026

Move out bills
Four residents disputed move out charges from August 2025 to 2026, for cabinets, paint and more. One resident in May 2026 called the move out process fair, with a detailed list of what was taken from the deposit.
Stale air
Many homes have no balcony, and residents in 2023 and 2026 say their windows don't open. Two residents in 2026 measured high carbon dioxide inside and say the fresh air intake rarely runs.
Noise: active
The street scores 74 out of 100 (higher is quieter), mostly from traffic. Residents praise the concrete between floors. The noise complaints are about the garage and grounds: car alarms and leaf blowers in 2025, and pool speakers in 2022.
Flood risk: low
FEMA puts this address outside its high risk flood area. Renters insurance doesn't cover floods, cars in the garage included.

Does The Bowen allow pets?
Yes. The expense guide lists a $400 fee and $25 a month for each pet, plus $30 a year for pet screening. One listing site says two pets per home with no weight limit, and that breed limits apply. We check your dog's breed before you apply. The building has a pet lawn, a bark park and a pet spa.
How does parking work?
Parking is in a controlled access garage inside the building: $75 a month for a space or $200 a month for a reserved one. EV chargers are on garage level 3. Residents say the chargers stopped being free in 2023, and some were broken in 2023 and again in 2026. A 2023 resident says the spaces are tight for big trucks.
Have there been thefts at The Bowen?
Residents say so. In 2023 one resident wrote that homes on floors 2 to 11 were broken into on the same day. Others wrote about cars broken into in the garage. In December 2025 a resident said over $8,000 was taken from a locked car in the garage. In May 2026 another said tail lights were taken from two cars and that management said no new security was planned. We found no news reports of these.
What should I know about moving out?

Does The Bowen have income restricted apartments?
Yes. Some homes rent to households earning up to 60% of the area's median family income. That's up to $56,460 a year for one person and $64,560 for two. The property's page listed no openings on October 26, 2026. The rents on this page are for market homes.
