What a high rise really costs a month

Asking rent is only the start. Pick a tower and a home, set your lease length, cars and pets, and see the monthly number with every required fee in it.

Decode a special

Paste the special the way the building words it. We turn it into the rent you pay each month.

How we work it out

Rent after the special uses the daily method most leasing offices use for specials: monthly rent times 12, divided by 365, gives the daily rent. Each week free takes off 7 days of rent, and each month free takes off 365 divided by 12 days. Those free days are spread across the whole lease.

A dollar amount off comes off once and is spread across the lease. An amount off each month comes off every month.

Required fees come from each tower's own fee sheet or listing: amenity, trash, pest, package and similar fees every resident pays. Utilities billed by use, like electric and water, change with how you live, so we list them on the tower page but leave them out of the total.

A special that says "up to" or "on select homes" may not reach the home you want. We ask the leasing office which homes it covers before you apply.
